The Little Mermaid has always been my favorite fairy tale. I wanted this work to show the longing for something unattainable. She wants to be part of the human world because she has fallen in love with a man. This desire turns out to be her obsession, her death and her eminence.

Great pic, I like this fairytale too, beacuse the happy happy endings are just too common, ...when they are not dead they live happyly together to their rest of their lives and blablabla. She's a real dreamer
